Building Circles of Support: An Educational Series on FASD (Spring 2026 – Virtual via Microsoft Teams)
The Manitoba FASD Network’s Building Circles of Support is an educational series on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
The information series is for parents, caregivers, other family members, and professionals who support children and youth 18 years old and younger recently seen or diagnosed at the Manitoba FASD Centre.
Our Spring 2026 series will run every Thursday from 1-3 PM for 8 weeks. All sessions will be held virtually via Teams. If you are unable to attend live, recordings of most presentations will be available to watch until the end of the series.
A different topic will be discussed each week. We encourage attendance at all 8 sessions. Topics often include, but are not limited to:
- What does it mean that my child/youth has FASD?
- How will FASD affect their behaviour, school performance, and social interactions?
- How can I help others understand my child/youth?
- How can I help my child/youth understand their diagnosis?
- How can I help my child/youth understand and develop their strengths?
